Jeff Iannucci is a Senior SQL Server Consultant with Straight Path Solutions. If you’re afraid of vowels, then you can just call him Jeff. Or even “Jeff I…uuuuuh” like most of his grade-school teachers. As long as you get “Jeff” right, it’s all good. Oh, and the first letter of his surname is an “I” like India, not a lower case “L”.
He started working with databases as an “accidental DBA” in 1998, and has since worked as both a database administrator and SQL developer. He loves sharing his knowledge as a blogger, speaker, course author with Pluralsight, and author of the forthcoming book “Learn SQL in a Month of Lunches”. He was also chosen as an IDERA ACE in 2020.
He believes that even with decades of experience, we all have something new to learn. This is why he started “Desert DBA” – to help others learn, and to do so without reading like a technical document.
When he’s not working, he enjoys writing about Indycar racing, watching Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns games, and cooking Italian food. Also, he’s quite uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person.
